I can dig that. I'd also take it step further in requiring the conference champs (P5) be seeded above the at-large teams, no matter the final rankings (with the 5th conference champ automatically matching up with the 4-seed). A conference championship should be worth something, and home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs seems appropriate. Also, I'm cool with the highest ranked G5 champ getting a spot, but there would have to be certain requirements met in order to be considered (ranked in the top 10-12-15 or something like that).
